Risk Management for Activities & Facilities

This three (3) hour workshop has been designed for those involved in sport and recreation activities.
An experienced and knowledgeable risk management trainer will focus and guide participants through
the following topics:

• What is risk management?
• What does it mean to you and your organization?
• Why do you and your organization need risk management?
• Identifying the process of implementing risk management.
• Identifying legal liability issues affecting you and your organization.

The instructor uses real life stories and presents the information in a lively enjoyable atmosphere.

Participants at this workshop will be better able to:
1. Evaluate the need for risk management planning within their organization;
2. Understand the components and the process of risk management; and,
3. Identify tools and resources available for the development of risk management plans.
