The YMCA of Pictou County provides vital services such as health, fitness and recreation, child care, education, training, and after school care. The YMCA is an inclusive organization that connects people to life-building opportunities, to each other and to programs that will enhance quality of life. Located in the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

SWIM PROGRAMS 
YMCA swim lessons introduce and teach adults and children a variety of skills in a values based environment. Participants are encouraged to experience the qualities of water, learn safety, movement skills, and build confidence. YMCA swim lessons emphasize fun and and positive relationships with the instructor and other participants.

DAYCAMPS 
ages 5-12, daily rates, weekly rates, swimming, games, activities , games , crafts , day trips 
7:30am-5:00pm 
 
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS 
Pictou County YMCA provides After School Programming at several sites across the county. Activities include crafts, outdoor play, and games.  
 
A number of classes, swims, open gyms and more go on at the YMCA, and a schedule is posted daily on the facebook page.
